Newport Student Village (Campus Accommodation)

The price and location were perfect . Parking was payable in Asda carpark . It would be a 15-20 min walk from the train station . As it was essentially student type accommodation I was pleasantly surprised that you could access tea and coffee . Good catering facilities if you want to make/heat up a meal. Great for a group of friends wanting to stay together as six ensuite bedrooms to each lounge/kitchen area. I like Newport but it would be a good place to stay for one night if going into Cardiff too . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Everything works and is clean. Good amount of space in the fridges for your food/drinks. There is an oven, microwave, toaster with a good amount of cookware etc.

Large comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen, huge wet room and constant hot water. Very quiet at night. Located in student village, there are 6 en suite rooms per flat with communal kitchen. Only used kitchen to get water, but was clean and spacious. Very helpful staff on the reception

The room was large. Bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were clean and tidy. Reception were very helpful ie the room was hot on arrival. They sorted the thermostat and provided me with a fan. Liked the fact a supermarket was a 2 minute walk across the road. The bus station and city centre shops were 10 minutes walking distance.

The accomodation is offered is that which serves as student accomdation during term times. The room I was given was very large and I can only assume that it was a double room. I would describe it as very functional. It had plenty of storage space and an abundance of sockets (a blessing in this day and ageThere was no television in the room but one was available in the kitchen which guests are able to make use of. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is about 10/15 minutes from Newport railway station with a flat and direct route there.

It's a very nice and quiet environment with self-catering facilities. Located in strategic area clos to Groceries.

clean & comfortable rooms with hairdryer & even fan (it was very hot this summer!), very friendly & helpfull staff, kitchen & fridges clean, great view over the river

Could not get any cold water in the sink in the shower room it was fixed the next time the maintenance team came in the next day

Perfect for working away and saving money. WiFi. Full kitchen and fridge/freezer for making your own meals.
